“Which bringeth forth his fruit in its season” (Ps. i. 3).
HIS is the characteristic of the “tree planted by the rivers of water.” This is the fruit of a life that draws its nourishment continually from the Holy Spirit. Like the tree of life bearing its fruit every month, so it is fruitful at all seasons. Like the Lord Jesus who was always about His Father’s business, from youth to mature years, so every moment is spent for Him. Our childhood can glorify Him. Our friendships can witness for Him and minister Him to those we love. Our home life can show forth His beauty and His grace. Our business can be a testimony to Him and our days of trial can glorify Him by patience and praise and our Christian work can “plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth.”
